Get to know H2O with our 7-day water challenge. Did you know that 75% of Americans don’t drink enough water? Your body is more than 60% water, and you need water to maintain the functions of your heart, brain, and muscles. Plus, water is lost when you sweat, breathe, and urinate. If it’s not replaced, you end up with a headache, dizzy, or thirsty – all signs of dehydration. You see, going without water is like driving your car with a flat tire. Sure, you can do it, but eventually you’re going to pay the price. And get this - it turns out that drinking eight, 8-ounce glasses of water is a myth. That’s because each person’s water needs are different based on a variety of factors. Find out the benefits of water, and how much you need here. Now challenge yourself. Fill your favorite container and empty it until you reach your recommended amount for the next seven days. But don’t stop there. Once the challenge ends, keep drinking water every day, and challenge your friends to join in. See you at the water cooler!

"I use a S'well because it holds ice all day long. I have to have ice cold water, and I find this works the best for me. Also, it does not sweat on my desk or kitchen counter!"
"I use a Camelbak with a straw most of the time, because it's easy to drink from while driving, and is spill-proof on my bed stand so I can easily have a drink if I wake up at night. With a toddler running around, it's also great to just be able to chuck it in the car and she can drink from it, too."
"I use an Ultimate Direction hydration vest for long weekend excursions with my pup! The reservoir in the back holds 70 oz. of water which I can easily drink through the attached tube without removing the pack, and there's plenty of space for snacks and bug spray! A great option if you're planning to be out all day."
"The Contigo Cortland Water Bottle is my bottle of choice. It gives me easy, one-handed operation, comes with a cover to keep out dirt, and a handy spring-loaded carabiner that I can clip onto anything (when I don't have any hands free)!"
"My double-walled Apana glass water bottle comes with a bamboo top and stainless steel basket for infusing loose tea, dried herbs, or fruit. The glass allows me to know how much water I'm consuming, and when I get tired of plain water, I put loose tea in the basket and fill it with hot water. The double wall keeps my tea warm and easy to handle. Perfect for a mid-afternoon pick-me-up!"
